Amy Pillersdorf is a Senior Financial Analyst for Brodshatzer, Wallace, Spoon & Yip.
Amy Pillersdorf began her career in 1985 with Chemical Bank Corporation in New York where she held number of positions in the auditing division. She participated in the audits of Real Estate, Commercial Lending, Finance and Corporate Service divisions of the bank.
After three years with the bank, Ms. Pillersdorf joined the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Chicago. Her position as an Investigations Specialist involved analyzing financial transactions and bank records and documenting her findings a well as the damages sustained by the institution. As a result of her investigations, litigation was undertaken culminating in multi-million dollar recoveries.
After seven years with the FDIC, Ms. Pillersdorf joined a CPA firm subsequently acquired by American Express Tax and Business Services. Her role in Litigation and Forensic Accounting Services involved client assignments in a variety of industries including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and construction. Specific responsibilities encompassed business valuations, lost income computations, and calculating damages for clients in litigation.
Ms. Pillersdorf moved to San Diego in 1998 and joined Shoreline Partners, LLC. Her specific duties included extensive research and business valuations for Mergers and Acquisitions and sale purposes.
Amy Pillersdorf joined Brodshatzer, Wallace, Spoon & Yip in 1999 where she is a senior financial analyst and researcher. She prepares business valuations, business damages, analyses, and economic research. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the State University of New York College, Buffalo, N.Y.
