![]() amodica@bwsy.com Ms. Modica's background in economic analysis is wide-ranging, including the analysis of several hundred economic loss cases involving wrongful termination, wrongful death and personal injury; as well as martial dissolutions and business valuations. Ms. Modica is experienced in the analysis and critique of opposing economic expert's testimony and has advised attorneys on economic loss issues at mediation conferences. Ms. Modica has also testified in a number of military court marshal matters as the damages expert. Prior work experience includes working as a research assistant to Merton Miller, the 1990 winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics, where she was responsible for the statistical analysis of data sets and economic research. She has also worked at Wellington Management Company in their Economics Group where she studied market trends in national and international stock indices. Ms. Modica received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Chicago. Additionally, she was granted a Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
