Robert Athy is a Principal for Brodshatzer, Wallace, Spoon & Yip.

Mr. Athy is a Certified Public Accountant and attorney. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego.

Mr. Athy's public accounting experience includes auditing with two national CPA firms, where he gained experience with manufacturing, retail, forest products, health care, broadcasting and finance industries. For approximately four years he was an active civil litigation attorney. He also owned and operated a wholesale/retail photo supplies business

Since 1988, Mr. Athy has devoted the majority of his time to consulting activities, including economic damages, business planning and valuation. His valuation assignments have covered a variety of industries. They include valuations for business and marital dissolution, acquisition, and estate tax matters.

Mr. Athy has served as an arbitrator for the Superior Court and the American Arbitration Association, mediator, special master, and court appointed provisional director under California Corporations Code Section 308.
