The accounting and consulting firm of Brodshatzer, Wallace, Spoon & Yip began in 1988 with the four founding partners: Dr. Arthur Brodshatzer, Robert Wallace, Roberta Spoon, and Tony Yip. Wayne Mushet joined the firm as the Tax Services Partner in 1997.  Darlene Babcock is a Principal who has been with the firm since 1991.  Greg Kaseno joined the firm as a Principal in 2010.

Brodshatzer, Wallace, Spoon & Yip practice specialty areas: litigation support/forensic accounting, valuation services, and tax services. The firm provides quality professional services, and their commitment to service is demonstrated in all areas of the practice.

In addition, the firm was honored as a "family-friendly" company by the Work & Family Coalition of San Diego. As the best by size (less than 50 employees), the firm was noted for its flexible benefits, attention to wellness, career management, and work-time options.  Also the firm has been honored with an award from the Consumer Attorney's of America for its significant pro-bono contribution of time and expertise in  support of the 9/11 victims in resolving economic claims.
